Renovations & Refurbishment

Situated on Harry Street just off Grafton Street established in 1779 McDaid’s is a pub with a long history and has strong links to literary greats such as Brendan Behan, Liam O’ Flaherty and Patrick Kavanagh. This historic building is over 250 years old and provided many challenges due to its city centre location on a busy thoroughfare with lack of access for works. Project consisted of refurbishment of front of building, new roof and new customer toilets. The business remained open and fully functioning throughout the project.
